At Good Ground Inc., we believe that transformation starts with a seed—a moment of guidance, faith, and opportunity that can change a life. That belief comes from our founder, David Wilson, whose own journey reflects the very mission of our organization.

Raised by his grandparents in Fort Wayne, Indiana, David knows firsthand the challenges of growing up as an at-risk youth. He could have easily been another statistic, but through faith, resilience, and strong mentorship, he discovered his purpose beyond his circumstances. Determined to create a better future, he pursued higher education, earning a degree from Indiana University, and went on to build a successful career as an entrepreneur and community leader.

But David's true calling was never just about personal success—it was about giving back and lifting others up. As a husband, father of five, and grandfather of four, he understands the importance of building strong foundations for the next generation. Fueled by his faith and personal experiences, he launched Good Ground Inc., dedicated to empowering young men with mentorship, emotional and behavioral support, and leadership training.

David firmly believes that God has a purpose for every life, no matter the obstacles. His passion for breaking cycles of violence, restoring hope, and fostering resilience is what drives Good Ground Inc. forward.
